Happy Turkey Day!!

Well here goes nothing--can't believe I'm this much of a computer geek that I actually blog now! I'm the "Sa" in the MaMaJuSaVi group--Sandy. Sorry it took so long to get started here! Not much of a writer, so bear with me. Let's see--married forever to Ben (wouldn't change that for the world), three kids--two in college, one out of college looking for a job. Hobbies include singing, and hanging out with the rest of the MaMaJuSaVi's whenever possible. Work at a police station, but not as an officer--though I was thinking the other day that that might be fun! It would be cool to arrest someone for something, I think. Stupid drivers would be at the top of my list! Love my job--great boss, great coworkers. Okay, enough about me. Here's wishing all my MaMaJuSaVi buds a wonderful Thanksgiving. Looking forward to our next get together!

Vi and the MaMaJuSa Cats

So, I guess there's been a request to post this absolutely foxy photo of our musical group - "Vi and the MaMaJuSa Cats". Though there might be a slight resemblance to Josie and her friends I think this group is much hotter! The singing talent is definitely with Ma1 and Sa (the guitar player). Vi really wails on that accordian and Ma2's talent is in her writing and drumming. Ju is just there for her looks (check out that bod - I wish!).

Arriving Late to the party..... as usual

So here I am, the Vi in mamajusavi. Joing a bit late from the "birth" of this blog. But are you surprised? I'm a novice to this whole blog thing, too. Although I noticed when I clicked on my name, my past attempt at a blog showed up. See? The universe truly is all connected... even if it is the World Wide Web's universe. (don't think for a MINUTE that Big Brother is not watching you) I'm the painter, not the writer, so I won't be able to do justice to the words written by Ma2. Or should that be Ma II?

Our little group consists of a writer, a photographer, 2 singers, and a painter. But that's too limiting. We're all multi-talented ladies that truly enjoy each other's company & have a darn good time together!

Those of you visiting our little blog world might wonder:
who are these marvelous ladies?
what words of wisdom will they pass on to the world?
what IS the fascination with Polish pottery?
and what DID I have for breakfast this morning? (oops. senior moment)

Let's hope for pearls of wisdom, mountains of joy & laughter drifting up to the sky!! (Ma2, would you care to fix that so it sounds better?)

peace & love
