What's next MaMaJuSaVi?
No posts since January. What's going on? Well, we've pretty much all joined the CWV (no pressure from Ma1) after a evening out at their establishment. The only one that managed to wiggle her way out of it is Ma2 who we haven't seen in quite a while. Guess she's busy globe trotting. Did you go to Poland again? We all miss you.
I believe it's official - we now have a new, "younger" sub-group of followers. So now we're MaMaJuSaVi - BeKa. Sounding more and more Polish each time we meet. Discussions on taking a road trip are in the works. Possibly a day in New York or just going to see a play locally. Can't wait!

Hola MaMaJuSaVi amigas!
Just trying to keep with the spirit of Mexican night out with the girls. Fajitas, tacos, nacho chips and the margaritas were flowing! There seemed to be some confusion regarding the recipe for a good margarita. Let's see is it 3 parts tequilla to 1 part triple sec or 4 parts? What the heck, just dump the whole bottle into the pitcher and add salt on the rim. Needless to say yo tengo uno grande hangover en manana (you'd think I never took Spanish in high school).
Vi mentioned that I have some pics of the evening. Well, since I'm still learning how to use my new camera (Christmas present from hubby) I had the ISO setting all wrong and ended up with some grainy and orange shots but I'll post them anyway. A little touch up in Photoshop doesn't hurt.
Mare's looking for a recap of the juicy conversation. Let me see... congratulations Kayte and Ben, Ben's training, pets and specifically dogs sleeping in your bed, men and specifically men sleeping in your bed, the very funny but a bit scary story from Vi about the truck driver (people can be strange). After that the margaritas kicked in so I hope someone else can add to the list. Next time, Mare, we need you to be there to take better notes!

Another great evening with the mamajusavi girls
As expected...... what an awesome night!!! Kayte & Becky are hysterical. So glad they joined us. And what great news!!! Despite the fact that I was there 'til 1 a.m., I felt great today! Must be the tequila.... or that large bottle of water I drank all the way home. Thank you, Ian!!
It was so much fun. Have to admit, I enjoy just going to someone's house & hanging out. We don't have to be quiet or polite..... just our usual "laughing out loud" selves.
CWV next month??? We'll get a pizza and buy Uncle Frank a drink.... or he'll buy us drinks all night!
All right. all right. Guess I'll have to suck it up and get on FaceBook. Got Julie's invite at 6 a.m. this morning. (what time did YOU get up)

It was time for a get together,
Of the MaMaJuSaVi,
But confusion set in
And no one could see
How we would all find a date,
When we each fill our days
With singing and stretching
and little getaways
Who’ll bring the salad
will there be dessert?
Ma2 will be hostess
And Ma1 arrived first
With tiki torches lighting
The way to the back door
Who will be the one that

Ju is the smart one,

But Ma1 and SaVi
All found their way in
While Ju stumbled in darkness
Til redirection set in

But fear of e-coli

So the meatballs got trashed
With the homemade pasta sauce,
and fresh mozz, ciabetta and lemonchello
were boss!
The blabbing began
There was no time to waste
We must talk of our lives
And the hurdles we face
So we rambled through topics
And the wine flowed so well
That if you put them together,
Well, no one could tell
That we actually tackle
big stuff when we meet
like avoiding a ticket
or improving one’s “teet”
We need time to heal
From the loss in our lives
